Life is so vulnerable. 2 of my wife’s reletive passed away in a very short period of time, i.e. 14 days.
Both of the deceased left us so SUDDEN. I coundn’t believe what I heard.
The 1st relative is my wife’s uncle who was 52 years old when he passed away. The late uncle was healthy without any sign of sickness. He complained of suffering from stomach aide and when he was admitted to hospital, doctor diagnosed that he had sufferred from “last stage” cancer. 3 days after the admission, he left the word. The funeral was held on 12 September. I was there attending the funeral service.
Again tomorrow I am attending another funeral in Kluang, Johor. This will be an EXTREMELY SAD funeral….my wife received a call from her mother yesterday morning informing that her younger brother has just passed away in a car accident. I really couldn’t believe what I heard. Her brother is only 23 years old this year.
Both deceased are man and single and they both left the world leaving behind their respective parent.
These 2 incidents strike me, it seems to remind me that my life is not within my control but God is the one who gives it to me and He shall “take back” when He deems right.
Aren’t we just passengers who live temporary in the world and one day everyone of us will need to account to our Creator….
Shall we treasure every air that we breathe… Every face that we see…Every moment that we spend with our love one…
Shall we stop sacrifying what is real valuable in life to exchange what is “seemed to be valuable”…
Shall we just live a simple life and making more time to spend with our love one…
I pray to God for His peace and comfort with my mother-in-law.

Indeed it should serve as a reminder of our real situation.
Modern life can be grossly distorted. And hence people have their priorities wrong.
Old age sickness death and spirituality are “divine messengers”
