		<description>Hi Mr. Eddie Law,

Thank you so much for your information in your web. I had read them in detail.

My daughter a Malaysian citizen, had graduated from Cambridge University to read Law, and now working as solicitor in London. She has her education since small oversea and she does not know Bahasa Malaysia.

How Malaysian gain barristership in UK if they are not UK citizen or PR. Will they have to give up Malaysian citizenship.

What are the ways to achieve to be a qualified barrister in UK to have the right of audience in UK Court, without given up Malaysian citizenship. This a a problem she is going to face.

Are these people in order to be a qualified to be a barrister had to come back to Malaysia to do their pupilage. Then, they will face the language test which they will be unable to cope.

Is that true, some Malaysian citizen had to gain PR in UK to practice barristership in UK for 5 years before return to Malaysia to get exemption to legal practical training and pupilage, in order to register into Malaysia Bar.

Can you let us to know the correct route to get into the Malaysia Bar if those Malaysian unable to sit for the preliminary language (Bahasa Malaysia) test.

She is first class honors student in Cambridge and it will be a waste to the country if she has to migrate to other country because she can&#039;t practise in Malaysia.

Hope you can help me.

Thanking you in anticipation.

		<description>Hi Rodney.

I will be doing Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) in London.

1) After completing GDL, can I take CLP (without pursuing LPC or BPTC) and then practise as a solicitor in M&#039;sia?

2) I want to practise as a solicitor in M&#039;sia. Please let me know which route is right and the fastest.

A. complete GDL in London --&gt; LPC in London --&gt; pass CLP in M&#039;sia --&gt; serve pupillage in M&#039;sia

B. complete GDL in London --&gt; LPC in London --&gt; serve pupillage in M&#039;sia --&gt; pass CLP in M&#039;sia

C. complete GDL in London --&gt; BPTC in London --&gt; pass CLP in M&#039;sia --&gt; serve pupillage in M&#039;sia
(same as Option A except take up BPTC instead of LPC)

D. complete GDL in London --&gt; LPC in London --&gt; serve pupillage in M&#039;sia --&gt; pass CLP in M&#039;sia
(same as Option B except take up BPTC instead of LPC)

E. complete GDL in London --&gt; pass CLP in M&#039;sia --&gt; serve pupillage in M&#039;sia
(same as Option A except no LPC/BPTC)

F. complete GDL in London --&gt; take LPC in London --&gt; serve pupillage in M&#039;sia
(CLP not taken)

G. complete GDL in London --&gt; take BPTC in London --&gt; serve pupillage in M&#039;sia
(CLP not taken)

Awaiting for your reply. Thank you for your time and patience.
