Interview with Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg

July 11th, 2009 · 1 Comment

I blogged about Why Facebook So Successful perviously. In fact, Facebook is predicted to be the “next Google”, whereby many may just look for information via Facebook in future.

Who is behind Facebook?

Based on, “Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook with fellow computer science major students and his roommates Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes while he was a student at Harvard University. Website membership was initially limited to Harvard students, but was expanded to other colleges in the Boston area, the Ivy League, and Stanford University. It later expanded further to include any university student, then high school students, and, finally, to anyone aged 13 and over. The website currently has more than 200 million active users worldwide.”

Below is the video of the interview of Facebook CEO, Mark. The 1st question was asked is “How old are you?” and Mark (looks embarrass) said “23″.

Tell me what do you think after watching it?

Mark Zuckerberg comes across as a pretty level-headed young man. I thought he handled the interview really well, especially as it was clear the interviewer was attempting to put him on the spot with a few pointed questions. Mistakes are bound to be made, but so long as they are rectified when the negative feedback comes in, they are forgivable. Many are worried about the CIA gaining access to private data via their front companies which have invested heavily in facebook. My attitude is: FUCK THE CIA! Who gives a shit about an irrelevant buncha spooks trapped in a Cold War timewarp? Who are they fighting, if not their own shadows? There are many aspects of facebook I don’t like – but overall it has done more positive things for me than negative. I’d invite Mark Zuckerberg to my home and make him a cup of tea anytime. I like his confidence and clearheadedness.
