1. Developing widgets - you may find more and more free widgets online. e.g. sitemeter.com and clocklink.com. You may wonder how the webmaster survives by providing these freebies in the internet. In fact, as long as you are able to develop a useful and creative widget, bloggers would love to place your widgets on their blogs, as a result, it not only helps you to push up your PR ranking but also give you free advertisement. When your traffic is high you can start thinking of selling some ad space.

2. Visitors update - this is another model of website, where you let your visitors post the contents that can be beneficial to them at your website. The free online advertising is a calssical example.
