Refreshing moment and feedback from you

August 9th, 2008 · 2 Comments

I got a note from a reader and it says:

Hi, This is June Siang, A law graduates, going to do CLP in this coming Septemeber. I visited laweddie.com, and it clarifies many doubts in my head, I just want to say Thank you Mr.Eddie.”

I find this note to be very refershing.

You still remember my previous post entitled “What motivate most bloggers to blog?”, in addition to the 4 Fs, I think you will keep on blogging when you find satisfaction in it.

Just like the above note which makes me feel satisfied, it seems telling me that “Hey Eddie, you better keep blogging and blog “seriously” as what you blog will actually help others“.

As vividly pointed out by Jack Canfield in his famous book “The Success Principles” – “satisfaction comes from enough action“. If you notice, “satisfaction” consist of “satis” and “action“. Everyone know what action means and in fact, in Latin, “satis” means “enough”. As such, if you want to gain satisfaction, you must pay enough action on the thing.

I guest this note is a good example of my actions spend in my blog. However, I just feel that I can do more for this blog…

So you too can find satisfaction in every thing that you do as long as you spend enough actions in it. (remember is “action” not only ”planning”).

Feedback from you

In fact, after a year of blogging, I am now in the midst of collecting feedback from my readers. I would be really aprreciate, if you can share with me what your think about LawEddie.com (good or bad), does it help you, if yes in what way? what are the things should be improved in this blog? what will you want to see more in this blog? anything that you want to comment, as long as it is sincere and constructive. Also do tell me who you are and how long you have been reading LawEddie.com.

    Dear Eddie,
I pay high respect to lawyer like you.

First of all, You make legal advise assessable via Internet.

Secondly, you addressed many common issues and raised many awareness in Malaysia i.e. phishing emails, global issues and etc. You use simple language for many of your post so readers can understand the problems and solutions without going through the painful process of reading the difficult law terms.

I am on the mid-way of completing CLP, hopefully I will have a chance to meet you again.

(If you could recall, I said hi to you during the Identity Theft Talk held by the Malaysian Bar Council. You left before I could have the opportunity to talk to you.)

I am interested in Data Privacy Protection, Fraud, IT law, e-commerce, etc. So, I hope to have a chance to work with you in the future.

    June Siang
