The Websites of the 5 Largest Malaysian Law Firms – Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill (5/5)

November 10th, 2007 · 6 Comments

5. Firm Name: Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill (LHAG)

Year of establishment: Lee Hishammuddin was founded in 1993. Allen & Gledhill was founded in Singapore in 1902. Both  firms merged in 2005.

No. of Lawyer: approximately 70.

LHAG has a flash banner animation introduction page when one first log in to the site. They have chosen green as the website’s theme colour. Green means freedom, fresh, peaceful and calm.Apart from the usual firm’s profile, they have a Resources page which contain some useful links and various range of online publications,  including, Legal Harald, Newsletters and a very well written “Featured Publication”, which giving in-depth write up about specific area of laws. All these are downloadable by all readers without registration requirement.

Conclusion: No doubts all the above 5 Malaysian law firms’ websites use good quality of images, espacially Skrine’s site. However, generally the content on “useful resources” still a bit lacking compare to American law websites. There is still a big room to improve on the SEO (search engine optimisation) aspect, as when one types “Malasyia lawyer” in google, these sites are not there, instead some small law firms’ site rank higher than them. Currently you may see some of the sites by typing in “Malasyia law firm”.
